Are you one of THOSE netizens who only care about themselves, fashion, kissing, cars and other shallow random things? Sometimes a lot of people perceive the tumblr community as shallow individuals who doesn’t give a damn about what happens to other people for as long as they get to kiss, to drink, to party, to shop, to boast, to tweet, to blog… or simply put, just do random immature, worldly things. Let’s prove them wrong… I for one have another tumblr page devoted to texts that say something other than… well, shallowness or mundane things. I’ve been a student leader, and I am a firm believer that the youth is more than what some older people think they are. We are worth more than iphones, cigars, skirts, lip gloss or pain in the necks. We are capable of causing change… positive change that is. We can be instrumental in providing better lives for others, or making Earth a better world to live in. If you are not informed enough about what you can do as a young individual in causing change, you can do simple things, from being a responsible blogger, putting trash on its proper place, not involving yourself in bullying or drugs to clicking the links below and involving yourself in a larger movement to make this place a better place to live and to… Teaching minds, Touching hearts, Transforming lives.
